Previous Failures Could Be Holding You Back

One of the terms that I often hear being used in my training is the concept of “failure habits”.

Failure habits are habitual ways of thinking or acting that virtually guarantee we will fail at whatever it is that we are trying to accomplish in life.

One “failure habit” that I have very recently become increasingly aware of is the habit of creating “failure stories”.

What are failure stories?

Failure stories are little stories that we create in our minds to rationally justify why we failed to accomplish something we wanted to accomplish in our lives.

Almost all of us create failure stories in our minds unconsciously without even realizing it.

It’s very difficult to even realize that we have these stories running through our minds. It’s actually a lot easier to spot them in other people than it is in yourself unless you really look for them.

So what do failure stories look / sound like? How do we become aware of them?

Well, the first step is to start noticing them in other people. It’s really easy to do that as most people spend their entire lives walking around telling people about their failure stories.

Here’s some of the types of examples I’ve heard before:

“I tried doing that business, but at that time in my life I was way too busy with too many things and just didn’t have the time to really focus on it so it didn’t work out.”
“I’ve tried losing weight, but I’ve got a genetic thyroid issue that makes it almost impossible to lose weight.”
“I’ve actually made good money before, but I self sabotaged myself because of the lack mentality I grew up with when I was younger.”
“My business idea was good, but it didn’t work out because the economy was bad.”
“I tried making money online, but I got in too late.”
“I could make so much money online but I’m not a marketer.”
“The Law of Attraction doesn’t work for me because of my beliefs. I tried it, and I know it works for others, but because of my beliefs it doesn’t work for me.”
“The cake didn’t turn out because my stove is old.”

etc.

The next time you’re talking to someone, just listen to how often people tell you their failure stories.

Whenever someone tells you how something didn’t work out for them – whether it be a relationship, a job, a business venture, whatever – they always have a failure story that explains and justifies WHY it didn’t work out.

Look for the keywords “tried” and “but” and “because”. As in “I tried doing that, but it didn’t work because of this and also that.”

Once you start listening for it you’ll be amazed at how often people walk around talking like this.

Once you become aware of just how often people all around us use failure stories in their day to day conversations, you will also probably start to notice yourself doing the same thing.

I know I have.

What’s Wrong With Failure Stories?

The biggest challenge with failure stories is that they simply aren’t true.

The reason we tell ourselves why we failed to accomplish something is almost NEVER the real reason why we failed.

There is a real reason, but it’s almost NEVER the one we tell ourselves.

How do I know this?

Well, think about this. Consider something in your life that you’ve been successful at.

For example, lets say that you are successful at playing an instrument – like let’s say the guitar.

Now, think about all the people out there who tried to play the guitar and failed.

You know the ones.

Well what do they say to you when they see you playing guitar?

“Oh, man you’re really good at guitar. I tried playing guitar once, but my fingers are too small.”
“I tried learning guitar but my fingers are too big.”
“I tried playing guitar but I don’t have the time to practice for hours and hours every day.”
etc.

Think about what you’ve been successful at…

Have you been successful at keeping your body fit and healthy?

Have you been successful at reading personal development books?

Have you been successful at raising a family?

Have you been successful at training your dog?

Have you been successful at playing an instrument?

Have you been successful at using the Law of Attraction?

Whatever it is that you’re successful at, when you talk to people who are not successful at that one thing, don’t they tell you the most ridiculous failure stories?

“Oh I can’t train my dog, he’s too old.”
“Oh I can’t stay fit, I don’t have time to spend 4h/day at a gym.”
“I can’t play an instrument, I’m not talented.”
“I can’t be fit, it’s not in my genes.”
etc.

Aren’t most of the failure stories that OTHER people tell us about why they’re not successful complete bullshit?

Isn’t the REAL reason why they didn’t succeed at what they wanted to succeed at something totally different?

Just start listening to people tell their stories and you’ll know what I mean.

How do they know that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work for them because of their beliefs? What if it’s something else?

How do they know that the real reason they can’t play guitar is because their fingers are too small, or too big? What if it’s something else?

How do they know that the real reason they don’t read books is because they’re not good at reading? What if it’s something else?

Once you start seeing just how ridiculous most people’s failure stories are, it’s time to turn the mirror on yourself.

Why are you not successful at _______________ ?

Get a piece of paper out and write down something you wanted to become successful at in your life and then write down all the reasons why you think it didn’t work for you.

I did this last night with one really, really big goal in my life that I haven’t yet achieved.

I made a list of possible reasons that I have not been successful at this yet.

I ended up writing down about 7 or 8 possible reasons.

Telling the Truth

The next step is to tell the truth.

And I believe this next step is a very profound step.

What is the truth?

The truth is simply this…

… maybe, just maybe, we don’t yet know why we failed to accomplish something.

Admitting the fact that we don’t KNOW why we failed is a huge step in success. For example, we could change the statements above to:

“I tried doing that business and it didn’t work out for me, but I don’t yet know why it didn’t work out.”
“I’ve tried losing weight but I don’t yet know why I haven’t lost it.”
“I’ve actually made good money before and I feel like I sabotaged myself, but I don’t yet know why.”
“My business idea was good, but it didn’t work out, but I don’t yet know why.”
“I tried making money online, but I haven’t yet, and I don’t yet know why.”
“I feel like I could make a lot of money online but I don’t yet know why I haven’t so far.”
“The Law of Attraction doesn’t appear to work for me, but I don’t know why yet.”
“The cake didn’t turn and I don’t yet know why.”

Just admitting that we don’t yet know why we failed is a huge step forward.

By opening up the “I don’t know what I don’t know” door, it allows the Universe to help you become aware WHY things actually didn’t work out.

Otherwise, you’re clinging onto a lie that doesn’t help you.

Failure Stories Rob You Blind

As a coach and mentor, I very often have people come to me asking me for advice on a specific challenge they’re having in their lives.

The challenge is that almost always, they also have a preexisting failure story attached to that challenge.

For example, they will say “Yeah Mark, I can’t seem to grow the traffic to my Blog because I don’t have an email list, what do you suggest?”

or “Yeah Mark, the Law of Attraction doesn’t work for me because I just don’t believe in it, so what do I do?”

They present the main challenge (no traffic, LoA not working) but then they throw in these assumptions of what THEY think the reason is.

The thing is that 99.9999999999% of the time, the reason that they THINK is causing them failure is NOT the real reason.

The biggest challenge then becomes getting them to actually LET GO of the preexisting “failure story” that they already convinced themselves of, so that they can see the ACTUAL solution to their problem.

In almost all cases, it’s actually harder to get people to let go of their failure story then it is to get them to implement the real solution!

Imagine if someone came to you and said “I can’t tie my shoelaces because I’m not left-handed.”

Assuming you are right-handed yourself, and you know how to tie your shoe laces, what would you say to them?

You would probably say “Wait. What do you mean? You don’t need to be left-handed to tie your show laces. I can teach you how to tie your shoe laces even if you’re right handed.”

Now imagine that they then say “No, both my parents were left-handed and so is my brother and they all knew how to tie their shoe laces very easily. My brother learned it in 5 minutes. I tried but it doesn’t work for me because I’m right handed. That’s why I always buy shoes with no laces.”

You might say “Wait, that’s not true. There are billions of people on this planet that are right handed, including me, and we can tie our shoe laces. Let me show you…”

And imagine them saying “No, that can’t be right. I already know that I’ll never be able to tie my shoe laces because I’m not left-handed. Thanks anyways.”

Wouldn’t that drive you nuts? 🙂

Do you realize that there is a VERY high chance that somewhere in your life right now you are doing the exact same thing to someone else?

You’re very likely using your fictional, made-up “failure story” as an excuse not to be able to do something, and when someone tries to help you solve that problem you’re denying their help because you are convinced that your failure story is true.

How to Stop Failure Stories from Causing More Failure

The first step to stopping failure stories from becoming a failure habit in your life is to become aware of them.

Write down something you want to accomplish or wanted to accomplish in your life on a piece of paper.

Then, write down a list of possible reasons that pop into your head which would explain why you failed.

Those “reasons” are your failure stories.

It doesn’t matter how reasonable and logical and true they sound – they are just stories. They may or may not be the REAL reason why you didn’t succeed.

Next, below all of those reasons write down “THE REAL REASON:”

And below that write down these words…

“The truth is that I don’t know why I failed to accomplish this yet, and I’m open to learning the truth.”

This truth statement will set you free.

Admitting that you don’t know is a HUGE step forward.

Only once we admit that we don’t know can we manifest the truth to come into our lives and to enlighten us.

We must first empty our cup of lies in order to fill it up with truth.

Next, seek the advice of people who are already successful at accomplishing what it is that you want to accomplish.

Ask them for advice and REALLY LISTEN.

Don’t assume you already know the reason why you failed. Ask them to tell you why THEY think you failed.

Chances are that their opinion – having already accomplished what you want to accomplish – will be a lot closer to the real truth than any of your failure stories.

Manifesting Dinner Discounts

Last night my wife and I wanted to go out for dinner.

I wanted to play a little game to see if I could keep the dinner cost for both of us including tip to the $50 cash I had in my wallet, while at the same time going out to the Restaurant.

When my wife and I go to the Restaurant we usually order their classic dinners which come with a salad and the steak/meal itself – which cost around $33-$36/each.

So obviously the math on a $50 “budget” wasn’t going to work.

However, we still wanted to go to the Restaurant as we haven’t been there for a long time.

I then remembered that a while back my sister gave me a $25 gift card to the Restaurant, so that raised our budget to $75.

However even with a $75 budget, the math still doesn’t work out once you include drinks, taxes and tip.

But it didn’t matter. We got in the car and went out for our dinner.

When we got there, we were seated instantly. No lineup, no wait. (This is the Restaurant on a Friday night. The place was busy, but zero wait time for us. 🙂 )

Anyway, we got seated in a lovely booth and just started talking.

After about 10-15 minutes or so my wife and I realized that we haven’t had anyone serve us yet.

This is HIGHLY unusual for the Restaurant, especially that one.

My wife asked me “Do you think we aren’t supposed to eat here tonight?” and I replied “No. That’s not it… I don’t think they see us. I think we’re invisible to them for some reason.”

I wasn’t kidding. We were seated right smack in the middle of the busiest cross-road of the restaurant layout. We had waiters and waitresses walk by us non-stop but nobody could see us.

It was like we weren’t even there.

Even the service manager walked by our booth multiple times and didn’t see us either.

We waited a bit longer just to see what would happen.

A few minutes later the situation became almost humorous.

We finally had to wait for the service manager to walk by and had to grab him as he walked by to show him that we were there.

He was rather startled and apologized that we weren’t served yet.

We didn’t make a big deal of it, more just laughed about it, and he immediately took our order, apologizing again.

He offered a round of drinks on him, but we politely declined as we don’t drink alcohol.

We ordered our dinners and they were delivered very quickly and we quite enjoyed them.

At the end of the meal, the waitress asked us if we wanted dessert and once again we politely declined as we were both way too full to eat any dessert.

Finally, they brought out our bill.

I took a look at the bill and they gave us a 20% discount on all of our food and drinks. With the taxes and tip, guess how much our bill was EXACTLY?

$75

Eating Healthy & Gaining Wealth

Yesterday I sat down to think about my goals to lose weight, get fit and healthy.

One of the things I was thinking about is all the different diets and programs I’ve worked on for the past 10 years, and I noticed a really interesting pattern.

While listening to my training a few weeks ago, Kevin Trudeau was talking about how manifesting abundance in our lives starts directly with our DNA.

Our DNA either vibrates with the energy of “abundance” or “lack”.

The elite wealthy class in the world are essentially born and raised with a vibration of “abundance” which is why it is so easy for them to attract wealth.

In the past, people believed that DNA (genetics / blood) was something that we were born with and that couldn’t be changed.

One of the greatest secrets discovered by Napoleon Hill while doing his commissioned study of the wealthiest people at the turn of the century was that ultra-wealthy people had different thinking compared to poor people.

That is why his classic book “Think and Grow Rich” is titled “THINK and Grow Rich” and not “WORK HARD and Grow Rich” or “BE SMART and Grow Rich” etc.

Napoleon Hill also discovered, however, that the vibrational frequency of our DNA is not static.

He discovered that by changing our thoughts and beliefs we can actually affect the vibrational frequency of our DNA and thus “re-program” it for abundance at will.

This discovery was removed from his books (including Think and Grow Rich) prior to publishing as people like Henry Ford thought it was too powerful of a “secret” to share with the general public.

After all, if people knew this and consciously applied themselves to changing their DNA “vibration” from vibrating with “lack” to “abundance”, who would work in his factories?

Even today, most people still believe that DNA is something that is static and unchangeable. Most people live with the false belief that they are “victims” of their DNA/Genetics, when in fact science itself has proven that this is not the case.

The work of Dr. John Henderson in particular has demonstrated that our DNA is constantly in a state of change and is dependent on our beliefs.

Change your beliefs – and your DNA changes. This is science, not New Age theory.

Cellular Abundance and Our Ability to Manifest

Kevin Trudeau further talks about how the foods we eat, the water we drink and the drugs we take affect the vibrational frequency of our DNA.

Essentially, the healthier our cells and our DNA, the more powerful it is at manifesting our desires.

The more you cleanse your body of impurities and the more you feed it healthy, nutritionally abundant food and water, the more your body becomes a magnet for abundance in your life.

I started thinking about this last night while looking back over the last 10 years of personal experimentation with diets, nutrition, working out, running, getting fit, etc.

I wanted to see if there was a correlation between me improving my state of health, and any improvements in my ability to manifest what I wanted.

What I realized is that there was a huge correlation between the two.

For example, I have been wanting to purchase a larger home on acreage in a quiet, beautiful setting ever since I graduated from high school. It’s always been a dream of mine to have a 3-5 acre lot where I could “spread out” and not have next door neighbors 10 feet away from me.

However, purchasing a property like this was not on my “radar” at all in January 2007. It just wasn’t financially feasible yet at that time, even though I had set that as a dream goal for a long time.

In January 2007, however, I started an exercise plan where I decided to run on my treadmill for 30 days straight for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Nothing huge, but it was a start to getting fit.

Around the same time I also applied to Academy here to take their Nutrition diploma courses.

Before I even finished my 30 Days of running on the treadmill every day for 30 minutes, I manifested an opportunity to purchase the 5-acre property that I live on today.

In fact, one of the reasons I ended up stopping my exercise regime after the 30 days is because my whole life turned upside down as I had to pack everything (including my gym equipment), move to my new place, and then spend several months renovating my old place preparing it for sale, while at the same time building a new fence around a smaller portion of my 5-acre property.

Anyone who has ever put up a fence around an 800 foot perimeter of a property that’s not on level ground that was largely uncleared of trees and brushes will understand that this is no easy task on the body.

Building the fence replaced my work out routine.

But since building a fence is not something that is easy to build a habit around, after the fence was built I stopped working out.

Another example happened in November 2007.

In November 2007 I took my Blogging “career” more seriously and wanted to find a way to be able to replace the income from my 10+ year long corporate job with an online income from home.

I made very small progress in December, January and February but it wasn’t until April 2008 that circumstances took a huge, quantum leap towards getting me out of my job and working on my own.

So what happened between February and April 2008?

Well, in March 2008 I started another nutritional improvement plan. I was following the pH Miracle diet program and working on reducing my weight.

I was following the plan, when in early April 2008 everything turned upside down again. I put in my notice to train my replacement at my corporate job so that I could formally quit as of Dec 31, 2008.

I had exactly 9 months to replace my 6-figure income from my corporate job with my Blogging / Affiliate Marketing business. I stopped focusing on health/nutrition and I started focusing on that instead. After all, just one year earlier I had purchased a 5-acre property which relied on my 6-figure income to pay the mortgage.

In February 2009 I started doing the P90X program, and within 58 days of starting I also manifested several major business changes to my affiliate business that required my immediate attention. I couldn’t “afford” to spend 2h/day working out like I did for the previous 58 days on the P90X program.

At the end of September 2009 I once again started another health improvement program. Within about 30 days of starting that I had manifested several major life changes and had my main Google Adwords account banned for promoting affiliate offers (along with about 100,000 other affiliate marketers around the world).

Once again I had to re-invent my business model and evolve to the next level as my income went from around $9,000/m down to $0/m overnight when Google banned my account. Of course this turned out to be a huge blessing later on as it forced me to explore totally different business models of making money which are way more aligned my True Self. However, once again, I had to put my “health program” plans aside to focus on re-building my income as quickly as possible.

In March 2010 I started my first weight loss challenge, which ended. At the end of this challenge I didn’t manifest any major changes, but I did go through some major shifts in perspective around the same time when I took my in May and my income did go up around that time as well.

In October 2010 I did a weight loss challenge, which ended. During that period of time I manifested a major advancement in one of my businesses that once again improved my income but caused my schedule to be ultra busy for a few months starting in January 2011.

In April 2011 I did the 21 Day Challenge – which manifested in me winning a $5,000 fitness package.

In May 2011 I started my second Weight Loss Challenge, which ended. Once again, by the time the challenge was over I had manifested becoming aware of the I once again manifested massive (financially positive) changes in one of my businesses, and I started my businesses around the same time.

It took me until February 2012 to get caught up with at least some of the changes in my businesses before I could start focusing on my health again.

Seeing the Pattern

These summarized examples don’t do the actual events that transpired justice. It would take a 20,000 word Blog post to go into enough detail to describe the things I’ve manifested each and every time I started a new “get healthier” program.

Also, I’m only referencing back to 2007, but I’ve looked through my journals and this pattern has been around in my life for over 10 years.

It seems that every time I improve the health of my body, my ability to manifest my desires and to attract new levels of abundance skyrockets!

This is exactly in line with what Kevin Trudeau teaches.

I realize now that in order to manifest abundance in our external world, we must first take care of the abundance felt by each and every cell in our body.

In the last three days I have been bathing the cells of my body with clean, healthy, pH balanced water, and an abundance of ultra-healthy nutrients found in my shakes and cleansers.

Compared to the crap I’ve been eating for the past few months, I am now feeding my body and each and every cell a full spectrum of abundant nutrients and clean water.

I believe that as my body cleanses the toxins and impurities currently stored in my fat cells and vital organs, each and every cell of my body will start to vibrate with an energy of “abundance” at a much higher level than they are right now.

I also believe that this will once again mean that my “Manifesting Abilities” will skyrocket.

Chances are that this will mean that within a short period of time I will once again manifest an even bigger and more abundant life externally, as my cells begin to vibrate with more abundance internally.

Changing the Pattern

Now that I am aware of the pattern, I’m hoping that this time around – when I manifest the next “big change” in my life – whatever that may be, I will be able to stick to my plan of eating healthier and cleaner throughout the change, realizing that my health and diet are a huge part of the reason why I manifested that “big change” in my life in the first place.

If I am right about this, then I’m almost scared to even imagine what kind of abundance I could manifest in my external world if I continued to eat clean and healthy and stay fit for a longer period of time than just a few weeks prior to going back to eating crap like I have in the past.

I’m really curious to see what happens next.

What About Reverse Abundance

One other thing I’ll mention here that I was thinking about.

If feeding our cells an abundant supply of healthy nutrients and clean, pH balanced water helps us to attract and manifest abundance in our external world – what happens if we do the opposite?

What if, for example, we feed our body things which are poisons such as pharmaceutical drugs, artificial sweeteners, chemicals, pesticides or even alcohol and recreational drugs?

What does that do to our ability to manifest?

Well, by doing that we end up manifesting lack in all it’s many manifestations – such as financial lack, disease, relationship issues etc.

If you are feeding your body poisons, your cells will vibrate with lack, and you will manifest lack.

It’s often not easy to see this pattern, but if you have been manifesting a bunch of “crap luck” lately or just general “lack” in your life – take a look at how the cells in your body are doing. Are you bathing them in an abundance of nutrients or are you flooding your body with pills, artificial sweeteners, stimulants and nutritionally dead foods?

Harvesting a successful year

I’ve spent a lot of time lately having conversations with people about dreams, goals and desires.

Ever since I got my hands on the training course which teaches us how to manifest our desires, my ability to manifest my desires has taken a quantum leap forward.

Every day I now wake up in the morning with the thought “I wonder what I’ll create / manifest today?” and I’m excited to jump out of bed to see what happens.

It’s like Christmas morning every day now.

That doesn’t mean that I don’t have challenges in my life that need overcoming, or that my life is an image of what the general public would consider as “perfect”, or anything like that.

But what it does mean is that I spend a LOT more of my time throughout every single day FEELING GOOD than I did before discovering the program.

I go to bed feeling good, and I wake up in the morning feeling good.

The amount of synchronicities that I’ve noticed manifesting in my life has also shot through the roof.

There’s just no words to describe how things have changed for me in the last few months since discovering that program, and especially since becoming a Member and going through the Success program.

I Don’t Know What I Want

Since manifesting our desires has been such a focal point for me over the last few months and since I’ve spoken to so many people about this recently, I’ve noticed a common theme emerging with the people I talk to.

I have come to realize that a LOT of people – myself included – are virtually CLUELESS about what we really want.

See, most of us spend much more energy and time and effort on trying to figure out and implement “the secret formula” for manifesting our desires, than we do actually getting clear on what we really want.

In fact, most people I talk to seem to have no clue what they want.

When I ask people what they want, they don’t know.

Most people seem to be too busy WORKING towards HAVING what it is that they want, to actually figure out what it is that they want in the first place.

Meaning, a typical conversation might go something like this:

Jerry: “What do you want from your life?”

Person: “I don’t know. I haven’t had time to figure it out yet.”

Jerry: “Why don’t you have time? What are you doing?”

Person: “I’m busy working.”

Jerry: “Working towards what?”

Person: “I don’t know. As I’ve told you… I’m too busy working to figure that out.”

This may sound like a ridiculous conversation, but it’s true.

Virtually ever person I talk to is too busy “working” or “surviving” to figure out what they want.

I’m no exception. Until recently, my “vision” of what I want from life has been extremely blurry.

The True Reason Why We Don’t Know What We Want

So why is that?

Why is it that we all live our daily lives, waking up, doing our thing, and going to sleep every night, without any real clue as to what we want from our lives?

Is it because we’re too busy to sit down and figure out what we want?

NO.

I believe there is a different reason.

I don’t think the problem is a lack of time.

I believe the real problem why most of us don’t know what we want is because we don’t think we can get it.

Meaning, I believe that as we get older, we slowly start to ask less and less from life because we don’t want to be disappointing.

Ask a typical 19-year old what their dream car might be and they’ll say something like a “Ferrari” or a “Porsche” or a “Lamborghini” or at least a top of the line “BMW” or “Mercedes” or something like that. At the very least it will be a car worth over $100,000.

Ask a 40-year old man with 3 kids, two jobs and 9 credit cards what their dream car is and they’ll either say “The old Toyota I currently own, I just wish it was paid off”, or they’ll just say “I don’t know.”

Does that 40-year old man really DREAM about owning that old Toyota for the rest of his life? Is that really his true desire? Is that the best possible dream car he would want to own?

Probably not.

What’s more likely is that the 40-year old man has stopped dreaming.

Why? Why do we stop dreaming?

I think most people stop dreaming because life beats the crap out of them.

For most people, as they get older, their belief in the statement “I can manifest my dreams and desires.” diminishes.

Meaning, they believe that statement LESS at age 40 than they did at at 19.

To me that’s a shame.

And like I said… Until recently, I didn’t even realize that this was happening to me as well.

I remember my huge dreams and desires from when I was 19 years old and even though I have been able to manifest a lot of cool stuff in my life, I haven’t really been expanding my dreams over the last 10-15 years.

If anything, they’ve been shrinking – until now.

Dare to Dream Again

I would have to say that probably one of the most exciting things that becoming a member has done for me is that it inspired me to start dreaming really big dreams again.

The reason this has been happening is because my belief level in being able to manifest ANYTHING I truly have a burning desire for has skyrocketed in the last few months.

That’s not to say that I didn’t believe I could manifest my desires before.

The difference is in how easy it has become!

Why has it become easy?

For two reasons…

(1) Connecting to the Right Energy

By becoming a Member I have connected to an extremely powerful energy / morphic field of wealth and success.

How does this make it easier for me to manifest my desires in life?

Well, the best way I can describe what does for me is in this way…

… every day as I go through my day, there are thoughts, people and “facts” that show up which make it logically “impossible” to manifest those things that I want to manifest.

For example, if I wanted to manifest the interest rate on my credit card being reduced from 22% to 0% – several things might happen…

… the thought “That’s probably not very likely to happen. Why would a credit card company want to reduce my interest from 22% to 0%?” might enter my mind. Thinking this thought is like slinging black dirt onto the energy field of my desire.

… a person might say to me “Credit card companies never reduce interest rates to 0%. Unless it’s one of those deals where you transfer your balance from one card to theirs and even then it’s only temporary… but outside of that, reducing your interest rate to 0% is impossible.” Once again, this is like slinging black dirt onto the energy field of my desire.

Ten or twenty different thoughts might enter my mind at some point during the day, trying to convince me that the thing I desire is probably not “possible”. It might not be my own thoughts that do this. It might be someone in my life saying something to me, or something I see on TV, or read on the Internet.

The point is that whenever we desire something in our lives, there are “reasons” that show up which try to convince us that we can’t have what we want.

(Reasons, by the way are just thought-forms which use the limited human capacity of “reasoning” to try to convince us that if something is not “reasonable” it is impossible to manifest. In fact though, unreasonable things manifest all the time.)

So if I use the analogy that limited beliefs, and negative thought forms, and “reasonable thinking” and people and resources and the media and the economy and any other “thing” out there which tells us that we can’t have what we want is like DIRT that is being flung onto our desires…

… then being a member and listening to training is like having a hot shower.

I set a desire for what I want.

I use the techniques taught in training to communicate to the Universe what it is that I want.

Then “DIRT” usually shows up – in the form of “thought forms” , people, “facts” and that DIRT tries to convince me that what I want is not possible.

I then connect to energy and their training and I allow that energy to literally wash away that dirt.

Depending on the magnitude of the thing I’m trying to manifest, more “DIRT” might show up.

I connect to energy again and their training and I allow it to wash the dirt some more.

And then things manifest in my life in the easiest, fastest, most amazing ways possible.

When this happens, things like getting credit card interest rates reduced from 22% to 0% become possible. Even when your mind thinks “No way, that’s impossible.”

(2) Letting Go of the How

The second huge reason why manifesting has become so much easier for me lately is because I have let go of the “how”.

Meaning, I no longer try to figure out HOW I’m going to manifest something.

I now leave that up to the Universe. It’s not my job to figure out the how.

It may be my job to IMPLEMENT the HOW, once it shows up, but it’s not my job to figure out the how.

The more I’ve been letting go of the “How”, the faster and easier it has become for me to manifest things.

In fact THE most difficult thing for most of us to do is to LET GO of the HOW.

If you want to get out of debt, decide that you want to get out of debt. Set that as an intention you want to manifest. Don’t worry HOW you will accomplish this.

If you want to lower your credit card interest rates, decide that is what you want. Don’t worry HOW it will happen.

If you want to manifest a new car, decide that is what you want. Don’t worry HOW that will happen.

Delegate “How” your desires will be manifested to the Universe and you’ll be blown away as to how quickly you start manifesting things.

The more you try to control the how, the less powerful you are.
What Are your Dreams for 2012?

In 2012 and beyond I dare you to dream big again.

Put away your skepticism.

Let go of the past. Let go of any disappointments. Let go of any failures. Let go of all the DIRT that stopped you before.

Start to dream again. Dream something big.

Don’t say you “Don’t Know” what you want. You know what you want. You’ve just been too scared to admit to yourself that you want it.

If you truly could have anything and everything you ever wanted, what would you want?

What kind of house would you live in?

What kind of car would you drive?

What kind of plane would you fly in?

What kind of relationships would you have?

What kind of friends would you have?

What kind of events would you attend throughout the year?

What kind of vacations would you take?

What would be your ideal “job”?

How much money would you make?

What kind of clothes would you wear?

What would your body look like?

Would you want your own business?

What kind of business would you want?

Allow yourself to dream big.

Your dream life depends on it.

Solving Your Own Problem

We all have problems in our lives.

However, we all seem to have different types of problems.

For example, I know some people who always seem to have relationship problems, while others are always having health problems and others still are having money problems.

There is no shortage of different types of problems out there, and we all seem to have our own unique set of them.

What’s really interesting though is that most people seem to be able to solve problems in one area of their lives, while being completely incapable of doing the same in another area.

For example, some people have no problem at all keeping their weight down and staying fit, but they have relationship problems or money problems or car problems.

Other people have no money problems, but they are severely obese, or they have relationship problems.

What is it about these certain areas of our lives that we have such challenges with?

Why are we able to solve problems in one area of our lives, while being totally clueless in another?

I believe a big part of the issue has to do with our values and a detailed understanding of the problem itself.

Let me ‘splain.

How to Solve the Weight Loss Problem

Let’s say that you’ve got most of your life in order, but you have a “weight loss” problem.

How do people usually define such a problem?

They typically say “I need to lose weight” or “I’ve got a weight issue” or something along those lines.

They define the problem by the result it produces in their lives.

For example, when I was originally thinking about my personal “weight loss” problem, I thought that being “overweight” was the problem.

However, being “overweight” is not the problem… it is the RESULT of the problem.

You can’t solve the “being overweight” problem as it’s an EFFECT, not the cause of that effect.

The problem (cause) of the issue is something different – such as for example not enough movement/exercise in my life, and/or eating an unhealthy diet.

But even those aren’t the real problems.

Not enough exercise is an effect as well. What causes that effect?

That’s what we have to get to the bottom of if we are to solve the overall problem of being overweight.

See, the thing is that you can’t put “Lose Weight” as an item on your daily “TO DO” list.

Losing weight is not something we can DO. It is something that happens as a result of other, much smaller actions that we take.

For example, follow this train of thought.

Let’s say that part of the problem of me being overweight is due to the fact that I don’t eat enough healthy, nutritious meals.

So we would say that the problem is that “I need to eat healthier foods.”

But that’s not something we can put on a “TO DO” list either. It’s too large and ambiguous.

What kind of foods do I need to eat more of?

Well, lets say that I need to eat more fruit.

What kind of fruit?

Let’s say that I need to eat more apples instead of chocolate bars, as an example.

Can we put “Eat an apple every day.” on a “TO DO” list?

Yes we can, so we’re getting very close now.

But why don’t I eat apples right now? Well, one thing I know about apples is that I like to eat certain types of apples, and they have to be of a certain temperature.

What I mean by that is that there are certain types of apples that I like more than others. So if I have a certain type of apple in my house, and I don’t like that type of apple, chances are I won’t eat them.

Also, my wife likes to keep fruit in the fridge. I hate eating cold fruit, so 99.9999% of the time if I see apples in the fridge I will not eat them because I don’t like cold apples.

So if I wanted to eat more apples what would I need to do?

Go to the store and buy apples that I like eating.
Store them outside of the fridge in a fruit basket/bowl where they are easily accessible to me.
Better yet, have a spot in my office for a fruit basket where I can keep fruit easily accessible.

Do you see where I’m going with this?

A problem like “being overweight” is not really “A” problem. It is a result of about 10,000 problems we have in our lives in the “health & fitness” category of our lives. You can’t solve “being overweight”. It’s too large of an issue. You have to break it down into smaller chunks and solve them one at a time.

The challenge is that if we don’t value “Health and Fitness” as a category of our lives where we put a lot of energy, then we will be too lazy to break the “issue” down into smaller enough chunks for them to be able to be solved.

How to Solve Money Problems

There’s no such thing as a “money problem”. Money problems are a result of a lot of other problems which all combine to produce one big problem called being broke and in debt.

You can’t solve the “money problem” by itself. You can’t put “fix money problem” on your TO DO list and then just fix it.

You have to break things down and see what the REAL underlying problem really is.

Here are some “TODO” items that you could potentially put on your list of things to do which could help with your money problems:

purchase a book on budgeting
read first chapter of book on budgeting
have a conversation with spouse about budget
put stuff in garage on Craig’s List and sell it
call credit card company and negotiate lower rate
etc.

See, all these action steps can be taken one at a time and they are simple enough that we can either DO them or NOT DO them.

They are things that can be done and completed as a single event in time.

Solving the “money problem” is not something that can be checked off your “TO DO” list. Even if you won the lottery today, you would still have the “money problem” – it would just be a different money problem.

You may have a problem with taxes, or with finding the right investment adviser to invest that money with you, or you may have the problem of trying to figure out your estate planning etc.

Either way, the “money problem” is never done, completed, finished, just like the “health and fitness” problem is never done, completed, finished.

You can’t “complete” health and fitness.

You can’t say “Ok, check, I’ve finished being healthy and fit, now I’m done for the rest of my life.”

Same thing with money. You can never SOLVE the “money problem”. It’s unsolvable.

You can “renegotiate mortgage with bank”, or “open up a savings account” or “complete taxes” etc. Those are single action steps that can be completed.
How to Make Money Online

Lately I’ve been thinking about how to drastically increase the amount of money I make online.

As in how do I grow my income into the seven figures.

That’s when I realized that “making money online” is NOT a problem that can be solved.

There’s no such thing as having a “making money online” problem.

It’s not something I can just “do” and check off my TO DO list.

I started to really break things down and ask myself, what exact specific steps do I need to take next to increase my online income?

Do I need to create more products?

Do I need to find ways to build more traffic?

Do I need to connect with more JV partners?

Do I need to create more content?

etc.

And then of course within each of those problems we can break things down into smaller action steps as well.

Until we break down a problem into single, actionable pieces that we can DO or NOT DO, then we’ll never solve the overall problem itself.
The Secret to Solving All Problems

The secret to solving all problems in life lies in our ability to identify the root causes of the overall problem itself.

The more clarity we can bring to identifying the actual “sticking point” we are getting stuck on, the higher the chances of solving the problem itself.

I dare you to try an experiment right now.

Take ANY problem area you have in your life right now.

Then, break it down into smaller problems, drilling down to a single action step within that overall problem which you can either DO or NOT DO.

For example, right now one problem I have is growing my online income to seven figures. That’s an overall problem.

Now, if I quickly break down just one sub problem within that set down to it’s smallest root cause I could have something like this:

need to produce more quality content on a more consistent basis (still too big)
need to create more videos (still too big)
need to create my next video (still too big)
need to clean up my desk before making next video (still too big)
need to take my dishes upstairs (BINGO)

See, an action step like “take dishes upstairs” is an ACTIONABLE item that I can either DO or NOT DO.

Try it right now… take ANY big problem you want to desperately solve in your life.

Now break it down, further and further and further until you have just one single action step which you can either DO or NOT DO.

Now write down that action step on a piece of paper.

Now here’s the real “secret”…

Now that you’ve broken down your big problem into a small, tiny action step you can either DO or NOT DO, and you’ve written it down on a piece of paper… how motivated are you to do that action step and cross it off as “done”?

Which do you think is easier for me to take action on:

(a) Make a six figure income online.

(b) Take my dishes upstairs.

🙂

Now what if you broke down ALL your “problems” into small, tiny, actionable steps you could either DO or NOT DO.

If you can do that… if you can break down your problems into actionable action steps you can either DO or NOT DO, then you will be about 95% of the way towards solving that particular problem.

The secret is in the ability to break down your problems, not in solving them. Solving is easy once you know what you’re solving.

Details are the “secret”.

Try it.

The Pomodoro Method

A couple of days ago I learned what has to be the wackiest, simplest and surprisingly really effective time management process called the pomodoro method.

Now, before you freak out and run away thinking that I’m going to talk about some new $30 – 300 page time management book, let me assure you of two things…

(1) I will show you how you can get everything you need to apply the pomodoro method absolutely free in this Blog post.

(2) You will not have to read a 300 page book to learn this process. You won’t even have to read a 50 page book. You can learn this process in a matter of minutes.

Where Does the pomodoro method Originate?

the pomodoro method was created by Francesco Cirillo – an entrepreneur, innovator in process-improvement techniques, author, coach and mentor.

Francesco originally created the pomodoro method in the 1980′s while attending University in Rome. Finding it difficult to stay on task and concentrate on his studies he began utilizing a kitchen timer shaped like a tomato to challenge his concentration skills.

That tomato shaped kitchen timer is where the technique gets it’s name – pomodoro being tomato in Italian.
What is the pomodoro method

In it’s simplest form, the pomodoro method is a simple – yet effective time management technique that helps you get stuff done.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1- You decide to work on a specific task.

Step 2 – You start a 25 minute timer.

Step 3 – For 25 minutes straight you concentrate and work on that single, specific task, uninterrupted.

Step 4 – At the 25 minute mark, the timer goes off and you stop working on that task.

Step 5 – You now take a minimum 5 minute break. You have now completed “one pomodoro”.

Step 6 – You either start another pomodoro for the same task, or you work on something else.
What’s So Revolutionary About That?!

I know what you’re thinking – “What’s so revolutionary about splitting your tasks into 25 minute chunks?”

Well, here’s the truth… there is nothing revolutionary about this method. It’s dead simple, and it almost sounds too easy to produce any kind of results.

But here’s the thing. I’ve been playing with this thing for the last few days and I can’t believe how much more productive I’ve been!

It’s like this thing turns you into productivity Ninja or something!

My Experience With the pomodoro method So Far

Thirty seconds left on my pomodoro timer as I’m writing this sentence, so I have to take my break now.

Be right back.

(5 mins later)

Alrighty, I’m back for another Blog writing pomodoro.

So, for the last few days I’ve been testing this thing out. Essentially what I do is I pick a project to work on, I turn off ALL distractions like email or MSN messenger or Facebook or Twitter or anything like that and I set a timer for 25 minutes and I start working.

I use a desktop timer which I’ll talk about in a few minutes which sits on my computer desktop and counts down from 25 minutes so at any point in time I can glance over and see how many minutes are left.

So I set my timer and I concentrate on doing just that one single project for the entire 25 minutes.

See, that’s one of the “rules” of the pomodoro method – you must complete a full 25 minute session in order for it to be considered a completed “pomodoro”.

Yesterday I helped my wife clean our deck outside, sweeping and vacuuming up some leaves and cleaning the BBQ – 2 pomodoros.

Today I worked on a new Blog I’m building – 3 pomodoros.

Then I watched some Frank Kern Internet marketing videos – 1 pomodoro.

I also gave my dog Kobe a brushing to get rid of his winter undercoat – 1 pomodoro.

Now I’m back to working on my Blog, writing this Blog post and publishing it. By the time it’s done I would imagine it will be 3 pomodoros.

Now, what is it exactly about this simple process that makes it so effective?

Well, so far I have noticed the following…

First of all, I am notoriously easily distracted so when I have my email, Twitter, Facebook, MSN, cell phone and the Interwebz at my fingertips I find it really difficult to work on one single thing for more than a few minutes.

I’ll start working on a Blog post and then I’ll see a Twitter message pop up – five seconds later I’m watching a video on YouTube of some guy doing something ridiculously stupid involving him, a skateboard, a metal beam, and his inability to have children after that “accident”. Meanwhile, his friends are laughing. Why do I click on such things!?

Anyway, it’ll either be that or some email will come in offering me a chance to get 50% off something super awesome if I just sign up for it right this second. How can I not click the link? It’s just so tempting!

Well, things are different now. Now I’ve got my pomodoro timer and it’s my gatekeeper.

When the timer is running, I’m focused.

If someone wants my attention – they can talk to the hand… at least for another 10 minutes and 36 seconds.

That’s the beauty of this system, the time intervals are perfect! I don’t know why, but 25 minutes is the perfect time interval. He explains it in the eBook (I’ll show you how to get it free in a minute), but I was too excited to try it out to read the book in that much detail.

A 25 minute interval means that if you get interrupted by something “urgent” half-way through, like a phone call or someone wanting something from you – you can just tell them you’ll call them back in 12 minutes. Unless it’s a real emergency like your kid choking on something, people can wait 12 minutes.

An email can wait 12 minutes.

An MSN message can wait 12 minutes.

A phone call can be returned in 12 minutes.

Do you see what I mean?

The other thing that I’ve really noticed since following the pomodoro method is that it is INCREDIBLE as to how much you can accomplish in 25 minutes if you just focus and only work on one thing at a time.

I mean WOW… it’s really crazy.

Try it out, you’ll see what I mean.

Tools for the pomodoro method

There is a very cool, and free tool I downloaded for the pomodoro method called the “Focus Booster”.

Here’s what it looks like…

Essentially, it’s just a very simple 25 minute timer. You click “Play” and it starts counting down from 25 minutes down to zero. When it reaches zero, the buzzer goes off and your 5 minute break starts.

Then, if you want to start another 25 minute session, you just click play again.

You can dowload the Focus Booster for free here.

It works on both PC and Mac.

Since I spend a lot of my time working on projects on my computer, I find this tool very useful. It minimizes into a smaller sized bar as well if you want. You can even make it “tick” if you like.

When I’m not working on my PC, I also use the count down timer on my iPhone to do the same thing.

Ohp, break time!

Alrighty, back for another 25 minute stretch.

Where was I? Right, iPhone countdown timer. You can use any kind of timer, but since I’m almost always either at my computer or I have my iPhone near me, the Focus Booster app and my iPhone countdown timer is all I need.

If you visit the pomodoro method official website you will see that he also sells the authentic tomato shaped kitchen timers, but those are way too analog for me.
Where to Get the pomodoro method eBook for Free

As promised, if you want to learn about the pomodoro method, I will show you how you can get access to the eBook version for free – no opt-in or anything like that required.

You have to do is click on this link here…

And then scroll down until you see the “Download the Book Free in PDF” section and download it for free.

You can also get the “Cheat Sheet”, “To Do Today Worksheet” and “Activity Inventory Worksheets” for free as well.

The eBook explains how to use all of those.

Test Out the pomodoro method

I don’t recommend trying to use the pomodoro method for everything. In fact, Francesco talks about that in his book as well.

Life isn’t about being super productive 100% of the time.

When it’s time to be fun, spontaneous or relaxed – don’t bother with this technique.

However, if you have a project or a set of projects that you’ve been meaning to put some time and energy into – why not try out the pomodoro method on those projects?

That’s what I did. I picked a couple of projects that I have been meaning to work on and I turned on the timer and tested the system out.

As I mentioned before, I was actually really surprised as to how productive I was during those short 25-minute intervals.

I think there is a whole world of effectiveness bundled into this little technique.

It takes advantage of Parkinson’s Law – which basically states that tasks will generally stretch to take up the amount of time that you allocate to them. By keeping the time frames short – just 25 minutes long – you become more efficient at getting things done faster.

Instead of my mind thinking “I need to finish this Blog post” it thinks “I need to finish this Blog post in the next 4 minutes”.

You’d think that this might create a lot of pressure and potential anxiety when doing things, but it actually does the opposite.

Try it out, you’ll see what I mean!

Getting Free Stuff from Blogging

Last week I drove down to Seattle to pick-up a new toy.

It’s something I’ve been waiting for, for over 5 months.

It’s the new Fender Squier electric guitar controller for Rockband 3.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this guitar, it’s a real Fender electric guitar that plugs into an amplifier, but it is also a Rockband 3 game controller.

It is the first of it’s kind. You can now learn how to play electric guitar while playing a video game. How cool is that?

Now, what’s even more exciting about this new toy is that it is paid for entirely with earnings from my blogs.

When I decided I wanted to get this guitar a few months ago, I decided to sell one of the small blogs I had setup in the past and the proceeds from that sale paid for the guitar, the amp and the MIDI controller for my PS3 to work with Rockband 3.

Essentially, I got it for “free”.

Blogging For Money as a Hobby

Even though it is entirely possible to do so, you don’t have to look at Blogging as a replacement for your job income.

Blogging can also be used to supplement your income, or just as a really cool and fun way to pay for your toys and hobbies in life.

Just from my single AdSense banner ad I have on my site I make enough money to buy myself a new toy every month or so.

And it really isn’t that hard to do!

Especially today in 2011 with all the cool social media tools available and with so much more money being spent online in product and service purchases and with online advertising.

I honestly don’t understand why everyone isn’t running a Blog.

I see so many people wasting hours and hours of their time on Facebook posting updates, pictures, stories, comments and all kinds of content and not making a dime off of that content.

And the whole time they wonder how that Facebook dude makes billions…

… uhhh… he’s making billions OFF YOUR CONTENT!

Stop Facebooking and start Blogging.

Get Free Stuff as a Blogger

There are many different ways to get free stuff as a Blogger.

Personally I think the best strategy is to employ all of these tactics, just depending on the situation. I use all of these:

(1) Free Stuff for Review

One of the first ways to get free stuff as a Blogger is to ask for it, in exchange for a review. Companies love Blogger reviews and if you can build up a small targeted audience related to the item you will be reviewing, companies will often send you free stuff for review.

Digital product such as software, eBooks, graphics, templates, videos, audio books etc. are the easiest to get for free as they don’t have a hard cost associated with distributing them for review. However, if your Blog looks professional and you know how to ask properly you can get all kinds of free stuff for review.

(2) Free Stuff by Winning Contests

Another way in which I have gotten a lot of free stuff is by entering into contests. Some of these contests involved nothing more than me spreading the word about the contest and entering into a draw.

(3) Free Stuff from Blog Earnings

As you build up your Blog income, you can use the earnings from your Blog to buy yourself new toys. What’s even cooler is that you can then write blog posts about those items and get even more traffic to your site, and make more money for future purchases.

Success breeds more success.

(4) Free Stuff from Selling Blogs

Although this is a little bit more of an advanced strategy, once you learn how to build profitable Blogs you can learn to sell them on sites like Flippa.com for 5-20x their monthly earnings. That means that if you can build a site that makes $1,000/month, you might be able to sell it for $5 – $20k. Imagine the cool toys you could buy with that.

Even if you can get a site to make just $50/m you might be able to sell it for enough money to buy yourself some nice toys.

Just Because You Blog Doesn’t Mean You’ll Make Money

One thing to keep in mind is that just because you start a Blog doesn’t mean it’s going to make you any money.

In fact, almost all Bloggers that start Blogs today will fail to make any money with them at all.

Most Bloggers will waste even more time trying to make money Blogging than they do on Facebook helping that Facebook guy to get even richer, and never make a penny themselves.

Why is that?

Well, the best way I can explain it is like this…

Have you ever been to a dentist?

Most of us have.

Well, let’s say your spouse had a cavity that needed to be drilled and filled.

Since you’ve been to the dentist yourself, and maybe even had a cavity drilled and filled, does that make you a dentist?

Would you strap your spouse to a recliner, grab your Dremel and start drilling away?

No, of course not… you’re not a dentist. You have no training. You have no idea what you’re doing.

(If you are a dentist and you’re reading this post, just pretend I’m talking about brain surgery or something.)

Well, it’s the same thing with Blogging.

ANYONE can learn how to be a Blogger, BUT you have to find a good teacher and take some kind of course.

I learned from teachers who all made 6-figure incomes Blogging. I didn’t just try to figure it out on my own.

I bought courses and I paid my dues.

No different than going to dentist school.

If you want to learn how to make money as a Blogger – even as a hobby, you need to find a good teacher and a course and start learning and applying what you learn.

Find someone who’s teaching style you resonate with and start learning!

What kind of free stuff have you

What’s Next?

Tomorrow I’m heading down to Seattle to attend this weekend’s Lifestyle Awareness seminar.

Lifestyle Awareness is the latest in a series of experiences I’ve had in my life that has totally blown my mind.

I first heard about Lifestyle Awareness from a friend, an intuitive/healer friend of mine, who started playing with the modality after watching some YouTube videos on it about a year ago.

My friend is a very talented psychic & energy healer who already blew my mind when I did some intuitive coaching with him last year, but that was nothing compared to when I actually met him in person this December.

Before I go into what happened in December, let me back up a few months to about summer 2010 when my friend first told me about Lifestyle Awareness.

He told me he watched some Mark Johnson (the creator of Lifestyle Awareness) videos on YouTube and then tried out the technique with some friends and it worked for him.

I went on YouTube, watched the same videos and didn’t get it.

Watching Mark Johnson doing the Two-Point Technique (one of the staples of Lifestyle Awareness) just looked weird to me.

Essentially he places his hands on two points on someone’s body, such as the left and right shoulder, and then “something” happens.

The technique (if you can call it that) can also be done without touching at all, and what happens is different for everyone – some people start laughing, other people lose their balance, others collapse entirely. Some experience nothing physical that can be seen with the eyes, but feel a shift internally.

When this happens, people have experienced some amazing transformations and healing in their lives.

Back in the summer of 2010 that didn’t really sit very well with me and my rational mind.

My “opinion” of Lifestyle Awareness back then was basically “Ok, so this guy picks two points on someones body and then either touches them or just holds out his hands and then something happens. Huh?”

In the videos I saw some people start laughing uncontrollably when this happened, or start falling forward or bending backwards. It just looked weird.

Because I respect my friend’s opinion though I decided to buy the Lifestyle Awareness book to see if maybe I could figure out what all this “stuff” was before passing judgement based solely on what I saw in the YouTube videos.

After reading about half of the book my rational mind was really getting mad at me. I just didn’t “get it”. Especially when I got to the section in the book where Mark Johnson describes how to do the Two Point Technique.

I tried doing it and it just seemed ridiculous. It didn’t feel like anything was happening.

I guess it would be the equivalent to trying to do Reiki healing with your hands without knowing how to do Reiki or being attuned to Reiki energy. You’d just be standing there hovering your hands over someone with nothing happening.

That’s what trying to do the Two Point Technique felt like to me…. nothing is happening!

Anyway, I just got frustrated with it and since I was busy with so many other things I put it aside. I figured I’d wait until I meet Chris in person to see if he can demo it for me.

Secretly my rational mind was thinking “This is BS. Hogwash. I don’t get it. How do people fall for this stuff?”

At the same time another part of me was thinking “Isn’t that exactly what you thought about Law of Attraction, psychic abilities, Reiki, muscle testing, lifestyle etc. at first? Now that you’ve actually experienced them, they make sense.”

Anyway, I kind of just tucked Lifestyle Awareness away in my mind as something I’ll look into in the future – most likely when I met Chris.

Playing With Lifestyle Awareness

Mark Johnson states that Lifestyle Awareness has an energy field that anyone can tap into instantly from anywhere in the world.

The easiest way to tap into it is to attend one his seminars, but it is not the only way. Some people are able to tap right into it just by watching his videos on YouTube, or by reading his books.

That is what happened to my friend. He’s never been to a seminar. He just watched a video on YouTube and was instantly able to do it.

Like I said, Chris is such a naturally talented healer / intuitive, he just picks this stuff up so easily.

In December of last year I flew out to where my wife was staying while training with to develop her intuitive/healing abilities as well.

I finally met my friend in person and he wanted to play with some of the Lifestyle Awareness stuff he learned.

He basically told me to stand in front of him, facing away form him, while he stood about 3 feet away from me and placed the palms of his hands near my shoulders.

Within a few seconds I felt the weirdest sensation. Almost as if Chris’s hands had turned into super powerful magnets that were pulling back on my shoulder blades.

I had to turn around several times to look because it really felt like he had grabbed a hold of my sweatshirt and was pulling backwards on it.

However that wouldn’t have made sense because if he had done that, I would have felt my shirt pushing on me from the front. Meaning, if you grab someone’s shirt from behind and you pull on it, the shirt pushes up against your chest in the front and pulls you backwards – it doesn’t pull from the back.

This felt like he was pulling me from the back, but the thing is he wasn’t even touching me. He was standing several feet away and his hands weren’t touching my shoulders or back.

That was just the start of it.

As my rational mind stopped even trying to keep up with what was happening, things got even more fun.

About 30 minutes later, my friend and I were really starting to have fun with this thing. My friend was able to stand there and just by moving his hands around in front of me, he was able to “make” my body move/lean in different directions.

It’s a really weird sensation that’s very difficult to describe. At any point I still had total control over my body, but if I just relax and try to stand still my body would want to move. Sometimes it would just be my neck that would move, almost like it needed stretching. Other times it would be my whole upper body that would lean to the left or right or forward / backwards.

At the same time it felt as if my body was really light, almost as if it was suspended by strings or something.

I know, sounds really weird right?

What was really cool though, is that after my mind opened up to the possibility that this stuff *IS* real and that reality isn’t going to come crumbling down around me just because this Lifestyle Awareness thing does actually do something, I actually was able to do the same thing myself as well.

At the level of physical reality, my friend didn’t actually teach me anything, in terms of like telling me what to do or how to do it or anything. Just by being in his presence and having him demonstrate the process to me, somehow I instantly knew how to do it myself.

I was now able to do the same thing he was doing.

I could stand behind him, about three or four feet away, lift my arms up around shoulder level and it’s as if my arms just kind of started moving on their own. Simultaneously he would feel shifts in his body and it would start to move as well.

It was kind of funny, because my wife was sitting on the couch and just watching us from a distance as we played around with this “thing” as if it’s some kind of new toy or something.

It was so much fun.

The next day I drove down to the Chapters book store in and bought Mark Johnson’s second book called. I couldn’t put the book down.

My mind was on a mission to understand / explain what I had just experienced first hand.

I have to admit that if I hadn’t experienced what happened with Chris, I probably wouldn’t have liked the book as much as I did.

In the book, Mark Johnson writes about the science/physics behind Lifestyle Awareness and other modalities similar to it.

However, much like Mark’s first book, I don’t think that reading this book will “prove” anything to anyone who doesn’t already believe in Lifestyle Awareness or who hasn’t experienced it.

I believe the intention behind this book is to just shine a light or open the doorway to a new level of understanding once you’ve already experienced Lifestyle Awareness for yourself.

The book does not contain all the answers to everything. Instead it’s like a starting point from which you can expand your understanding or research if you wish.

For me it was just about trying to understand something about what I had just experienced.

Was It Even Lifestyle Awareness?

The crazy thing is that by the time I got back home from my trip, I didn’t even really know what it was that I experienced.

I know I had learned something from my friend, and I know he learned it by watching Mark Johnson’s videos on YouTube and it definitely feels like the descriptions of Lifestyle Awareness I read in the books, but honestly I don’t know what it is that my friend and I were doing.

I think it’s some glimpse of the Lifestyle Awareness Two Point Process, but it could just as easily be some form of energy running or Reiki or something. I have no idea.

Taking It To The Next Level

When I got back I connected with a couple Lifestyle Awareness practitioners locally here on Facebook and described my experience and they told me that it sounds like Lifestyle Awareness.

I also bought “The Lifestyle Awareness Experience” which is a 6 CD / 1 DVD / Study Guide and 41 Card set which is the next best thing to going to a real seminar.

I listened to it and watched the DVD. It all pretty much made sense to me.

It’s really wacky, weird stuff that’s really “out there” for a rational minded thinking guy like me, but there’s nothing I could disagree with. Everything Mark Johnson talks about in that set just made sense to me.

That’s when I decided that it was time to go to a seminar and see it for myself, so that’s what I’m doing this weekend.

Since getting back I’ve also played around with this “thing” on some unsuspecting friends.

People would come over to my house and I would just say “Hey, let’s try something ok?” and I would ask them to stand in front of me with their back towards me and I would stand 2-3 feet behind them and just do what I did with my friend.

I would lift my hands up and instantly I would feel them kind of start moving on their own almost as if they wanted to move in a certain direction. It kind of looks like doing Tai-Chi or something where the hands just smoothly move around.

I’ve done this with about six different people and except with one or two of them, none of them knew what I was doing. Meaning, I didn’t tell them what would happen, what I was doing, or anything like that. I just asked them to stand there while I “Try something.”

By the way if you ever want to see a weird look one someone’s face, ask them to stand in front of you with their back towards you and tell them you just want to try something. It’s fun!

Since my friends know I am a Reiki practitioner, I think they assumed I was doing Reiki or something but since they were facing away from me they had no idea what I was doing.

In every case, pretty much the same thing would happen. My hands began to do their thing, subtly moving around and I would notice my friend’s body’s start moving.

It’s as if they were being pushed or pulled in a direction and I could see them trying to keep their balance.

Pretty much every single one of them reported feeling as if I was pushing or pulling on them even though I was nowhere near them. A few of them spun their heads around saying something like “Are you pushing on my back?!”

Their eyes got really big when they realized I was nowhere near them.

When I did this with my sister a week ago, something even more strange happened. I don’t know why, but I was intuitively drawn to focus on her tattoo on her back. She has a tattoo on her upper back / lower neck with the eye of horus and I was just drawn to focus on the eye while doing the “Lifestyle Awareness thing” with my arms.

It was really weird because my arms got really animated while working with her and it felt as if I was somehow opening up her Chakra or something.

She reported feeling really weird as if she was expanding, and as if I was opening up her 8th Chakra and at one point when my arms were really really wide apart (as far apart as they would go) she said she started seeing some clairvoyant things, including the carpet in my living room starting to “melt”.

What I thought was really interesting about that is that in his Lifestyle Awareness books, Mark Johnson sometimes jokes around saying that when you get around his energy field, don’t be surprised if the carpet starts to melt in front of you. My sister didn’t know that when she said that though.

Weird huh?

Anyway, like I said above. I have no idea what I’m doing. I think me and Chris have tapped into something interesting. I *think* it’s Lifestyle Awareness, but I won’t know until I attend this seminar on the weekend.

All I know is that I’ve already experienced some weird mind-bending stuff and that’s just from being around Chris who learned it off YouTube and from reading Richard’s books, and listening to his audio CD’s and DVD’s.

I hope the seminar this weekend takes things to the next level for us, and I hope to get some validation that what me and Chris are doing is in fact the Lifestyle Awareness Two Point Technique.

Has any else heard of Lifestyle Awareness, had a Lifestyle Awareness session with a practitioner or attended a seminar?

If so, what was your experience?

My Life Transforming Event

Last night around 10pm we got back from our trip to Seattle where we attended the Lifestyle Awareness Level 1 & 2 training seminar.

My wife and I were so fried from the seminar that we just went to bed and passed out.

My mind is still trying to integrate everything we learned during the seminar – hahahah, good luck…

What is Lifestyle Awareness?

Lifestyle Awareness is a difficult thing to define.

One of the reasons for that is because Mark Johnson specifically created it to be a consciousness technology that does not require exclusivity.

In fact it is quite the opposite of that. It is an inclusive technology that encompasses whatever modalities and teaching / coaching / healing / personal development systems you may already know and utilize.

For example, I am a Reiki healer. Lifestyle Awareness doesn’t require me to stop using Reiki healing in order to “do” Lifestyle Awareness.

In fact, if anything, it amplifies and makes my Reiki healing abilities more effective for as long as I choose to use them and find them useful.

Similarly, I can integrate what I do as a lifestyle practitioner or a coach / mentor with Lifestyle Awareness.

While at the seminar I was struggling to figure out how I would define what Lifestyle Awareness is in this Blog post – which I knew I was going to write when I got back.

Interestingly enough, I picked up the workbook that came with “The Lifestyle Experience” set I bought a few months ago and opened it to a page where Mark Johnson defined it in a very simple way that I think encompasses it perfectly.

“Lifestyle Awareness is designed to free you from the limitations of your conscious mind. When you free your mind, you open yourself up to the limitless potential and processing power of the right brain. When the power of this unconscious awareness is tapped, you can begin to play with the universe.” ~ Mark Johnson, The Lifestyle Awareness Experience Workbook

I think that’s the best definition of Lifestyle Awareness.

The Prison of the Conscious Mind

The toughest prison to escape from is the one you don’t realize you’re in.

Our rational, left-brain mind imprisons us in a self-made prison and we don’t even know it.

The two biggest lies that our conscious mind tells us are:

That we ARE our conscious mind.
That the conscious mind is all there is.

The conscious mind defines everything in linear, logical, rational terms.

We have been sold a lie, and that lie is that all we are is “rational” beings.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

I used to think that most people are rational. I used to think that I was rational as well.

That’s the illusion that our conscious mind’s sell us – that we are rational beings.

The interesting thing is that if we simply accept the fact that we are both rational and irrational beings, and stop trying to convert every experience into a rational representation of that experience, we regain our sanity.

Of course our minds would have us believe the exact opposite. Our minds try to convince us that to be rational is to be sane, and to be irrational is to be insane.

By that logic we are all insane, since we are all irrational.

For me this Lifestyle Awareness seminar was about diving even deeper into the world of letting go of my rational mind to play and experience what it feels like to escape out of that prison, and I have to say that it’s an amazing experience.

Letting go of the rational mind does NOT mean completely abandoning the logical reasoning center of the mind. It simply means not living your life under the illusion that that is all there is.

As one of those very logical people who was actually good at math and physics in school, and who used to program computer software for a living, moving out of my rational mind has not been an easy process for me.

One thing that has helped me in a big way is the realization that I don’t need to abandon my rational mind in order to embrace more of myself.

Meaning, expanding my awareness to a larger totality of who I am does not mean I have to abandon the rational part of me. I can still keep that part of me, and just accept more of who I am on top of that.

This is how I’m able to accept more of who I am (the right-brain parts of me) without diminishing the left-brained parts of me as well.

It’s not like I need to give up left brain constructs like math, physics or computer programming in order to embrace more right-brain constructs like heart centered awareness.

In fact, I believe that everything we take for granted as a rational left-brain thing right now once originated from the right-brain.

200 years ago, the idea of flying in an airplane from Europe to North America in a matter of hours was irrational thinking.

The airplane had not been invented yet, so anyone who talked of such things would have been considered to be nuts.

There is no creative power in spending your entire life within the confines of rational thinking. All great discoveries come from accessing the irrational, creative part of ourselves.

What I like about Lifestyle Awareness is that it allows us to navigate that world.
The Seminar Experience

The Lifestyle Awareness seminar we went to was broken down into three parts.

There was an introductory session on Friday night from 7pm – 9pm which was open to everyone who registered for the seminar as well as the public.

So for those who weren’t sure if this seminar was for them, they could attend the free introductory session and decide from there.

What I liked about this session was that there were a lot of demonstrations shown of what Lifestyle Awareness can do. Mark Johnson also told some stories and gave a general overview of what Lifestyle Awareness is, but mostly it was just a session to demonstrate what Lifestyle Awareness does.

In hindsight I also realize now that it was also an awesome opportunity to immerse yourself in the morphic field of Lifestyle Awareness. So even if you didn’t stay for the seminar, your right-brain / unconscious mind had the opportunity to “plug in” to this field.

In reality, that is all it really takes to “learn” Lifestyle Awareness. You just have to connect to the field and similarly to how Neo learns “Kung Fu” in the movie “The Lifestyle” the Lifestyle Awareness “program” downloads into your unconscious mind.

I realize that makes no logical sense, but that’s how it works. In fact, my friend Chris “learned” Lifestyle Awareness just by watching one of Mark Johnson’s YouTube videos. Don’t ask me how, he just did it. I still have no idea how he did this, but I know it’s possible. It had nothing to do with what was actually shown in the video itself, it had to do with the energy embedded in the video itself.

Mark Johnson says that the same energy is embedded in the Lifestyle Awareness books, CD’s, etc. So technically you can “learn” how to do Lifestyle Awareness without ever attending a seminar. You can just read one of the books, attend the free Friday evening session or by watching one of the videos on the Lifestyle Awareness website.
People Falling Over

If you attend one of the free intro sessions before a seminar, or if you watch some of the videos on YouTube you may see this phenomenon where people “fall over” when Mark Johnson does a two-point (one of the processes taught in Lifestyle Awareness) on them.

I’ll address this now, since I think that by far this is the biggest thing that people either love or hate about Lifestyle Awareness.

From one perspective, when someone goes on stage and Mark Johnson does a two-point on them and you see a physical reaction such as someone’s body moving, or contorting in a weird Yoga posture, or someone falling over, or crawling up in a fetal position and laughing uncontrollably it’s very difficult to argue that something is happening!

For the rational mind, which experiences the world through the first five of our senses, seeing something like that is “proof” that something is happening.

For some, it’s proof that some form of transformation has happened. For others, it’s proof that this is some kind of scam or hoax.

It makes no difference to me which people believe. I’ve experienced it myself and so I know I’m not “faking it” so I know it’s real.

I don’t pretend to understand what exactly is happening in the body during a two-point, but something is definitely happening.

What did kind of bug me though is that it seemed like for a lot of the seminar attendees, they only saw a transformation when it was accompanied by a physical transformation.

Meaning, with some of the people who went up on stage Mark went through and “played” with various things that they wanted to transform in their lives and there WERE shifts that were happening to these people, but they weren’t necessarily physical in that very moment, but most of the people in the crowd didn’t seem impressed until someone fell over.

It’s kind of like if a person went up there and wanted to transform a fear pattern, and Mark Johnson helped them to go through that but there was no physical reaction then it seemed as if people were thinking “Oh nothing happened.” So then he kind of had to ask the person “What else?” or just go to some physical pattern that they wanted help with, and maybe then the person would experience a physical shift, or fall over or something and then the crowd would be like “Woaa!” and everyone would start clapping.

As a lifestyle practitioner I know that sometimes HUGE shifts in a person’s consciousness don’t display ANY physical reactions in the moment of the shift, while other times they do. So expecting a physical reaction every time is a setup for a lot of frustration.

That’s the only thing that I kind of didn’t like about the crowd. There seemed to be this expectation that if you go up there and Mark Johnson plays with you, you’ll fall over – otherwise it means “nothing happened”.

I can’t blame Mark Johnson for this, nor the other two teachers who were teaching this weekend as they were constantly trying to get that point across to people (that people don’t need to fall over in order for transformation to happen) but it just seemed like not a lot of people were hearing it.

And of course by “a lot of people” I am really referring the part of me that those people represent which still clings onto the idea that a transformation in consciousness has to result in some sort of instant physical world manifestation of that transformation in order for it to be “real” or “effective”. Within the realm of Lifestyle Awareness that is often the phenomenon of people falling over or erupting in spontaneous and uncontrollable laughter.

One thing I would say to anyone (including me) who decided to play around with Lifestyle Awareness is not to expect people to fall over as an indicator of success with the process.

In fact, from what my intuition deduced from being at the seminar, only a very narrow spectrum of healing results in instant physical phenomenon. If anything it is just a metaphor for something much greater happening beneath the surface.

Days 1 and 2 – Level 1

After the introductory session on Friday evening, the next two days were devoted to learning Lifestyle Awareness Level 1.

These two days, on Saturday and Sunday, taught us the fundamentals of Lifestyle Awareness from the ground up.

Unlike the Friday intro session which was mostly just about demonstrating what Lifestyle Awareness can do, these two days were filled with the “How we think this works” and the “Why we think this works” and “Here’s how you can make it work for you” – followed by a lot of “Now go play and experiment with it yourself.”

This was not one of those seminars where you just sit and listen to a lot of theory for 8 hours and fill in the blanks in a work book.

We did receive a workbook but it was mostly just for reference after the seminar.

What we did do is learn some of the theory behind Lifestyle Awareness and then we were given the opportunity to go into the adjacent room to practice.

There were a number of facilitators walking around also helping anyone who wasn’t getting or understanding any of the techniques that were taught.

Surprisingly, it seemed like a lot of the facilitators were walking around with their hands folded behind them because it seemed like everyone was getting it.

On the first day of the Level 1 training, Mark mostly taught a lot of theory and the physics behind Lifestyle Awareness along with a lot of hilarious stories and a lot of demonstrations up on stage.

After that foundation was set, later on in the afternoon we got to actually start “playing” with this stuff, which is where I think a lot of skepticism started to dissolve.

Theory and even seeing people falling on stage is great, but nothing convinces the mind like actually experiencing it for yourself.

By the end of Day 1 I am pretty sure everyone in the room could do the basic two-point. I think Mark said that historically they have a 97% success rate at teaching people how to do it at seminars, but I have the feeling that with each seminar that number goes up.

Meaning I bet like 2 years ago that number was probably around 80% and now it’s probably more like 99.9%. I didn’t see anyone raising their hand by the last day when they asked if anyone still had trouble getting it.

Day 2 started off with a Q & A forum where people were allowed to ask any question.

Now here’s what was cool about the Q&A session… The night before, my wife, sister and I went out for dinner and we were discussing what we had learned on Day 1 and we were trying to figure some things out.

By the end of the night we had about 5 or 6 unanswered questions between the three of us which we were hoping to have answered the next morning.

What we really weird though is that during the morning session they only answered about 8 – 10 questions and all 6 of the questions we had were answered within those questions – BUT we didn’t have to ask any of them!

Some of the questions we had were pretty specific too, so it was really cool to see that.

For me it was yet another example of the fact that we are all one and that any separation between us is just an illusion.

In the afternoon, we learned more stuff, heard more stories, saw more examples, and got to practice with more stuff.

By the end of Day 2 (end of Level 1 training) we definitely had enough tools and “stuff” to take home and play with. Our minds were pretty baked.
Day 3 – Level 2

Level 2 training took everything we learned in Level 1 and just took it to another level.

I love immersion training so I thoroughly enjoyed being totally immersed in learning all this cool “stuff” throughout the weekend and I really liked how Mark Johnson kept it fun and entertaining (he’s hilarious), but by the end of Level 2 training my brain was thoroughly baked.

In fact I think my brain is still baked as I write this post. It’s just so much stuff to take in.

Keep in mind that all the stuff that is taught in Level 1 and 2 took Mark Johnson decades to discover, play with and perfect. Learning that much stuff in such a short period of time is enough to bake anyone’s brain, lol.

As far as the format of the training, it was very similar to the previous day. We started off with some questions and answers, followed by learning more stuff, seeing more demonstrations, and getting to practice with the techniques before coming back to once again learn, see and practice.

I really like this type of practical, hands-on immersion training as opposed to learning something from the theoretical point of view but having no practical context or practice with it.

The cool thing is that with this type of learning, the minute you complete the seminar and walk out the door you already know how to do it.

Of course you always get better with practice, but at least you’re not just leaving with a bunch of theory and no practical experience with it.
Integration

The next step in the process for me is going to be in taking what I have learned and experienced this weekend at the Lifestyle Awareness seminar and integrating it into my life, my businesses and my coaching / mentoring practice.

There is so much cool stuff I learned this weekend that I can apply to everything else I’ve already been doing.

I’m going to integrate Lifestyle Awareness into the 1-on-1 mentoring I do with people, as well as into my lifestyle sessions with people and when I do Reiki healing.

To be more accurate really, I’m going to integrate Lifestyle Awareness into everything I do as it’s now a part of who I am.

That is not to say that I am an expert in Lifestyle Awareness or anything like that. I have a lot of practicing to do and a lot of self-discovery to go through with this, and I can’t wait to start playing with this.

Actually, more accurately I’m excited to continue playing with this as I have already started.

Simplifying Online Success

About a year ago I acquired a secret weapon for producing more effective results online.

It’s an online course that teaches essentially what is now the most effective way to communicate and produce results online in pretty much anything you do.

I haven’t talked about it much because by the time I actually started applying what I learned in this course and started producing results it was no longer available to the general public.

It was sold out.

And I hate telling people about something that could improve their results online when it’s not even available for them anymore.

So I kind of kept quiet about it, only mentioning it to my closest friends and one-on-one mentoring students who specifically asked me about it.

Anyway, I’m not sure what cave I’ve been in during the last few weeks but I just found out that this course is now re-opened to the public once again!

Apparently I totally missed all the emails leading up to the re-opening so I just found out about this right now.

Sorry about that guys, I should have told you sooner.

My Secret Weapon

Alright, so since it is re-opening again and all of you will have a chance to get access to it – I can finally talk about this little secret weapon I’ve been using for the past year or so.

It’s not like I’ve been hiding it or anything. For anyone who reads my Blog, I’ve been blatantly using it for about a year now but I just didn’t explain why.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, my secret weapon is video.

Yes, video.

Video is by far the most effective communication method online.

I’ve known this for a few years now, but I had all these excuses as to why I can’t do video.

Some of these excuses included:

Making videos is too expensive.
Making videos is too complicated.
Making videos is way too time intensive.

That was until I was introduced to Andy Jenkins and his online course called The Video Boss last year.

Andy basically destroys these myths / excuses and teaches you exactly how you can leverage online video to supercharge your results online.

There aren’t a lot of courses that I buy into that I feel good enough to promote as an affiliate, but as soon as I started applying what I learned in The Video Boss training last year and saw the results it produces I have been itching to tell everyone about this thing.

As an affiliate marketer I love promoting stuff that’s awesome and that I’ve actually used and applied myself.

Unfortunately, like I mentioned above, the course was closed and unavailable to the public until today.

So, now that they’ve re-opened for a period of time to accept new students I highly recommend you guys check this thing out.

Click on the image below to check out Andy’s hilarious new 3 minute re-opening video.

Results May Vary

Since I am promoting this re-launch as an affiliate I want to be fully transparent and say that the results I have produced by using program are not typical.

This is because nothing I do is typical. I’m a weird guy, with a small army of video clones which are even weirder than me (some genetic mutation during the cloning process?), so the results we produce are as far away from typical as you can get.

Having said that, I really think that anyone who actually takes the course, and applies what is taught within can produce results that are much more impressive than what I’ve produced.

I know this because I have only applied about 30% of what’s taught so far, and even then I haven’t done a great job even doing that.

Since I’m all over the place trying to do 500 things at the same time – dabbling in so many things at the same time as to render most of them largely ineffective. However, even just by dabbling with video I’ve seen a huge response with it.

Here’s a few things I’ve used video to accomplish (starting from scratch!):

Although there is no way of knowing exactly what was the final deciding factor, I also do know that video played a huge role in helping me win the $5,000 Fitness Town 21 Day Challenge last month as well.

I was the only contestant who was using video in the contest and I think it gave me a huge advantage in promoting the competition, getting votes, and impressing the judges.

What It Won’t Do For You

The training course is the best online marketing training course I bought in the last 5 years. It was worth every penny.

Having said that, there are two downsides to this course.

First of all, buying The Video Boss course is not enough to produce results. You have to also use what is taught inside to actually make some videos.

They don’t have to be great videos, or even good videos. When I first started, my videos were mostly crap. And they still produced results.

In fact, I still think my videos are pretty crappy compared to what some other people are doing, but that doesn’t matter… you know why?

Because even my crappiest videos produce WAY better results than anything else I do online.

This is a SAD fact.

I’m a writer. I’ve written over 600,000 words of text on my Blog over the last 5 years and at the end of the day the sad fact is that my videos are WAY more successful than anything I have written on my Blog.

I wish people actually READ stuff online, but the world has changed.

Nobody READS anymore. In fact if you’re still reading this Blog post, consider yourself an exception.

99% of people already closed this page, clicked the link or just scrolled past this.

Written text is not enough in 2011. You must do video.

The training in the program will help you to take advantage of video.

But, like I said above it won’t make the videos for you. You have to apply at least some of what’s taught inside to see results, but even if you just do the bare minimum you’ll see results!

That’s what’s cool about video. It produces amazing results very quickly, especially on YouTube.

Secondly though, there is one last thing that The Video Boss won’t do for you.

It won’t overcome your fear / shyness of being on camera.

I won’t lie, when I first even considered starting to do video I was horrified. Being on camera is SCARY AS SHIT!

Maybe for some it isn’t, but for me it was. And judging by what my mentoring students tell me, I’m not the only one.

Overcoming Camera Shyness

Because I was so camera shy when I first started contemplating doing videos, I had to really get creative on how to overcome that.

The cool thing is that I actually found a really simple, but effective process of overcoming camera shyness.

If you watch any of my videos on you’ll see that with every video I make I’m getting less and less camera shy.

However, to get to that point you have to start with your first video and if you’re camera shy that can be a big challenge.

Well, I’ve got a solution for that. It’s a process that I go through with people that I taught myself and then tested out on a handful of my mentoring students.

And it works.

So if “Camera Shyness” is something that you’re worried about in terms of making videos, I’ve got a deal for you.

IF you decide that program training course is for you, but you’re worried that you are too camera shy to make videos, I will personally coach you through overcoming your video shyness if you purchase the course through my affiliate link.

I know I’m getting a little bit ahead of myself here as program training is not even re-opened yet… but I’m just putting that out there as an offer to you as my valued Blog reader.

I want to see more of you using video to make money online and I know for a lot of you, camera shyness is an obstacle so I want to help you overcome that.

Before we even get to that point though, regardless whether you decide to get this course, I highly recommend getting access to this free set of videos Andy has put together here:
